WOW I can't believe he shot that little skipper. I'm sure that I would have let him go for another year until he was mature. NOT!!!!! Congrats on a great buck!!!

Ok, so, I don't know how to enlarge the picture? My friend is a pastor, really great guy. We haven't hunted together in a few years because of opposite schedules. He got this hog on private land here in Central CT. He had been watching him on his gamecam for the last few months. He said that this buck kept the same pattern most of the time. Told me that he went to Monroe in the morning and didn't see anything. Then he moved to this other place in the evening. He said that he had two smaller but pretty good size bucks in front of him and he almost shot one when this guy walked up. He shot it with a Rage broadhead. Said the buck ran down a hill into a swamp that was pretty much dried up because of our drought. He said he almost killed himself dragging this hog. The butcher he brought it to weighed it at 215 lbs dressed. I told him that if this big boy spread his genes around for the last few years, there should be plenty like him in the future. He left me a letter on my door the day after getting this buck; stating that he was thankful that I showed him how to hunt a few years ago. He believes that showing him a thing or two led to his success. I told him that it didn't look like he needs any of my help! Told him that the Lord delivered that monster to him! If I get anymore pics I will post them.

Great story! The Lord surely blessed him. A special thanks to the deer for giving his life up food and trophy pics. Without that buck, none of this would be possible.
