Moose help in 66a

Good friend drew moose in 66a. Neither of us has hunted the unit before. I'm just here to help pack.
We hunted south of McCoy Creek road, packed in 2 miles near Bald Mtn. Hunted two days there, then headed into Iowa creek and hunted the bottoms. Didn't see a single moose in three days of hard hunting.
Any help would be appreciated.....

I'll PM you some info that I have from my elk hunting trip. They are there you just need to find them in that dense forest country.

I'm always interested in elk info if you want to PM me any areas where you found elk. We've figured out the unit fairly well, but I can always log more area information for next year!

Dozen years ago I shot my moose up high way up Mccoy creek. Never saw a thing in the bottoms. Moose are where you find them. Think outside the box.. GL..
