I was watching some local news this morning at 6 am and a commercial came on. It was Senator Manchin lobbying for Nick Rahall. In all my short years, I've never seen such a weak attempt to beg for votes. It far passes even Obama's attempt in Florida two years ago. Just plain out and out begging for your vote. Not sure why I posted it but, I was just amazed. Here's hoping they both get to stand in the bread line. God Bless

Mr. Rahall has helped to set the stage to "transform" the nation from a representative republic to a socialist democracy. Nothing surprising-really. We were told exactly what would happen and the nation apparently wanted it.

I agree with Jimmy. You get what you vote for. Now the gubment is making health care workers get flu shots against their will. They can actually put what they want in them and demand you get them. Look it up.

Or vote for Evan Jenkins and lose any political pull our state had. At least Evan jumped ship from the democrat to the republican party when he realized it would benefit him. LOL.

Don't confuse this race with Obama.

Mr. Casto,

Please provide specific examples of how Mr. Rahall has helped to set the stage to "transform" the nation from a representative republic to a socialist democracy.

First, I'm sure he voted for Barak Obama. Then there's the 94% voting record with our Marxist president which included a vote in favor of the ACA.

Not wanting to create more political enemies but I agree. I think Rahall has went too far left.

The Democratic Party is not the same party as it was 30 years ago. The national Democratic Party is going so far left it's leaving WV.

Yeah, and there's really no need for discussing it further here. It's pretty obvious some of us are on far ends of the spectrum. :^)

I'll just leave it with a little food for thought--maybe.

1) When Obama gave his "I will fundamentally transform the fabric of America speech", what do you suppose he was talking about?

2) I politically despise, Marxists, socialists and communists, but I personally admire a Marxist, socialist, and communist who knows what they are, and freely admit it--like Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
