Congrats buddy. Nice bear
Awesome,love those bears.
Congrats. We're lucky in that we can hunt deer and bear at same time. There's not too many places where you can do that and have a reasonable chance in most counties.
a new woman in your life.....glad things are working themselves out....been a long while since we spoke...knew you went through a rough time....nice bear
Congrats! Nice bear, any bear taken with a bow is a trophy! A lot of great memories of the hunt.

I got a good one in Wirt County this week. I grossed him at 153 6/8". I've never seen a buck like this around here, until I got a trail cam picture of him 4 days before I shot him.

Here is the trail cam pic I got of him.
Wow. Great deer. Congrats on a once in a lifetime buck.
It appears they DO exist outside of the 4 county region. I bet that isn't the only one. :^) God Bless
Wow is right... great buck, for anywhere!

First deer from ground level...kinda cool. Now it is time to get serious. Sorry for the pick-up picture. Forgot camera for "in the field" pics.

Those are some great bucks, Congrats to all the hunters that have made their kills.

Sorry about that... I'll try again.
Congrats fnshtr, nice deer and bow.
Ohio buck but I live in West Virginia so I thought I would share with you guys. Came in bumping a couple does and let out a few deep grunts.
Was able to connect with my first buck yesterday. I just started hunting last year and have been waiting for the right one to come along. Shot in Harrison County
Congrats on ya first!!!!!!
This is my second bow kill doe. She's almost as big as the buck she's laying beside
Thats a big old buck shes laying next too....Pretty big doe as well
Thanks Big-Otis_Jeff, I had 3 bow tags, so I couldn't pass on her since she looked so big. I'm down to my last tag, so I'm going to hold out for a nice buck till gun season. If I don't kill one by then, I'll take whatever I can after gun season.
This guy put on a show this evening! He was growling every 4 or 5 steps and urinating all over the place. He ran every other deer out of the food plot! Rack did not change much from last year's rack and he still walked with a limp. I could hear him grunting and growling from almost 250 yards away. He almost reminded me of a bull elk - he would get between the other bucks in the field and the does and just lunge at them. What a great show!
I saw 7 Bucks today. 5 were together this guy was one of them. I passed on 2 real nice bucks that i was afraid i would regret.I knew this was one of 6 shooters we had in the area.Bucks are cruising for does and heard some chasing also.Good luck guys
I had planned to spend November chasing bucks in Wyoming county, but after killing a 10 pt in early season I decided to spend some of my vacation in mason county this week. Deer movement was great as I killed a big doe on Tuesday and saw this buck "cold trailing" a doe on Wednesday morning. I moved my stand for the evening hunt and was lucky enough to put an arrow in him by 4:30 that afternoon. Good luck to all...JC
Congrats dude , you're having a great year.
Jason, Congrats!!! You are having a great season. I haven't been able to post on here yet, but I was able to take a doe on October 11th in the Morgantown Urban Hunt. I donated that doe to the local food banks! I got an 8 point on October 25th in the Morgantown Urban Hunt too.
Shot this one Saturday morning. Came in chasing a doe. Been a tough year so far with this walking boot just glad I'm able to get out
Killed Friday in Ohio. Congrats to all on deer harvested.
Me and wife's cousin Paul Witt doubled up sat morning 10 min apart on same ridge here in Fayette county,,,,
Not as nice as your guys bucks ........
I'm tickled to death for you Jack. Nice buck. A lot of hard work and determination goes into a bow kill.
nice deer jack ,,, love that jacket I bet thats local huh
I knew you would notice that George ,
Will I get ridiculed for posting the spike imma kill this weekend?
Not unless you make a separate post and ask for it to be ranked in an obvious childish attempt to provoke and thumb your nose at other hunters who are actually working with the DNR and Legislature to try improve the deer herd to make deer hunting in WV a better experience for all bowhunters. Not to mention the bowhunters that would like the chance to see more mature bucks while hunting.
Congratulations hill runner on a great trophy. First deer is always special and you will never forget it.
Hill runner hope you get many more in your lifetime , congrats !
Why gobler, I think you have a fetish for me.
Ron, I hate to disappoint you but I really don't care about you at all. I just hope all these sexual innuendos like fetishes and teenie weenies getting hard that you bring up on here don't carry over into your sermons.
Maybe you should consider therapy with a psychologist or psychiatrist . Maybe they can help you with your social immaturity.
I guess I can post my Ohio bowkill here too? Shot on Friday 11/14 at 10:55am, chased a doe right under my stand. I shot him at 6 yards with my Mathews Switchback XT. 11 pt, 19 1/4" inside, 205# field dressed, rough gross 156 4/8".
Great deer wirtbowhunter what a tremendous year you are having. I don't care if you hit one with your truck in Ohio post anything you want.
Awesome Ohio buck. I wish there were some like that around where I live.
Thanks guys, I am having an amazing year like I've never had before and I don't figure I'll ever have again.
Gary Miller took this 8 pt. on 11-10-14 in Boone Co. He called it in to a 14 yard shot. He used a PSE bow, easton epic arrows, magnus stinger broadheads. He had about a 100 yard recovery.

Wirtbowhunter - you are on a roll...I would play the POwerball ...LOL
Nice Ohio buck, congratulations!
Sorry, guys for no picture. I'll try this again. Gary miller took this 8 pt. On 11-10-14 in Boone Co. He called it in to a 14 yard shot. He used a PSE bow, easton epic arrows,Magnus stinger broadheads. He had about 100 yard recovery.
My girlfriend's very first deer ever. It would have been a 4 point, but it had one side broken off. She put a really good shot on him too. He didn't go 40 yards.
Great job girlfriend. You'll never forget your first. She got a real name? lol
Cool soundman. Tell your gf congrats
Tell YOUR LADY I said Congrats ! My 1st deer long ago was a 4pt, I sure was proud.

Finally! Held on long as I could but ended up with a miller buck.
nice does Jason, Shaky why did you shoot it if you aren't pleased with it. The smile on your face says it all. I guarantee you Ron had a big ole smile on his face when he shot his.
Didn't get a chance to post picture earlier. Got this buck on November 12th. My first non-urban deer for the year.
Doe this morning with the bow.
Got my biggest buck this morning, 9 point but was a rifle kill. Got to share the aftermath with my buddy and my girlfriend which was really nice
I got this guy on public land in Pocahontas County. It may not have a huge rack but it is still a trophy to me.
Late season doe this morning. Nobody there to take field pic but had to get one at the house
Congrats! Any late season archery deer is a challenge. Most everyone I'm hearing from isn't seeing anything.
Also Congratulations to everyone that was successful.
Congratulations on a great deer.
Most guys are not seeing anything because there are a lot of acorns.,lol
Season is officially over for me. Tagged out now. This is my first deer with a recurve
Way to go on the first trad bow kill!
One of two Nicholas County does. No bucks for me this year. Passed on a few small ones.
