I've got the Easton Bloodline carbon arrows with 100 grain Slick Trick broadhead and the red Nockturnal lighted nocks. What are y'all shooting?
Some 30 inch aluminum with sharp blade things on the end
Victory VAP armor piercing small diameter arrows 125 gr slick tricks. Penetration like I never seen.
Beman ics hunter and bow hunter 400s ....100 grain shwacker heads
Easton St Axis Full Metal Jacket at 11.3 gpi. They never failed me when combined with 100gr WASP BOSS fixed broadhead. They fly straight, penetrate, and rarely break.
Beman ics hunter with Rage 3 blades.
Gotta say, I've shot all kinds of arrows, and the only thing I've found is while there are some brands my bow likes better than others, the difference is minimal. Practice will make the worst arrow shoot a whole lot better than the best arrow with no practice.
Aluminum arrows with slick tricks 100 grain using the same set up for about 34 years execpt the heads use to shoot wasp 1000 gr.
beaman ics hunter 340 w/ 160gr zwickey eskimo
Yukon
1,000 gr????
34 years is a long time to use the same arrows and broad heads. I could do that no problem because I don't shoot anything so they would still be like new, even 34 years later :)
bbb and steve used to scare them over the cliffs with blood curdling screams of the saber tooth whooping cranes before rocks and sticks were invented...lol
notme
my voice isn't what it used to be, so I had to stop the yelling technique. Not sure about Steve though.
I'm warning you, going out this Saturday and look for my posting showing the huge buck on the ground. I will have blood on my hands this year.
Did you finish that roof yet !I might shot something myself sat morning .Steve

I won 2 dzn arrows from Connecticut Archery in the WPLR auction. They have their own brand called Striker, so I am using those.. Comparable to Beman ICS Hunter 400s. Tipping them with Ramcat 100 broadheads. Standard nocks at the moment, but thinking about lighting them up
25-1/2" Beman ICS Hunter 400s with 100 gr. slick tricks and Easton Tracer Nocks .
Easton Deep Six Full Metal Jackets tipped with 100 grain NAP KillZone heads. Incredible penetration and kinetic energy.

Easton Axis 340's, Rage 2" hypo's 100grn, blue wraps, flo yellow and orange quick spins, Nocktournal lighted nocks.
Deer crossing archery SD hunters 350 spine 125gr stainless outsert tipped with 100gr slick trick magnum.
OK
so has anyone found a certain arrow/broadhead combo that works WAAAAY better than anything else?
I buy different arrows because I like shiny new things. Heck, I buy lots of new gadgets just to see how they work. It can get pretty boring just sitting in the tree watching deer go by.
Black Eagle Outlaws ,Wasp Hammers 100 gr
For my recurve, the Gold Tip Traditional 55/75 with a 100 grain brass insert and a Magnus stinger 100 grain head and three 5" shield cut feathers flies and hits better than any arrow I have ever used out of a trad bow. I tried it with a compound.... What a whallop! Went through the target.
