Im looking for a taxidermy shop in the eastern part of the state that does beetle skull cleaning. The only ones I can find by doing google searches are around Des Moines. Id prefer to find a place that I dont have to drive 2 hours to or ship my head to. Any help is appreciated.

Alternative - This summer, place skulls in 5 gallon bucket half full of water. Two weeks later your skulls will be cleaned by maggots. Then set in sun for a day or two to remove odor. They'll have 'em so clean you'll have to glue the teeth back in!

skullsunlimited (.com) simply freeze/wrap and mail.Very professional job.Its worth it to ship it-most taxidermists just play middleman and ship there and mark it up $.
