How many of you have seen or heard coyotes this season? I've hunted 3 days this week and heard them each morning and saw a really big one Monday morning. He was at a gallup and couldn't get a shot.

Any time we do an evening hunt we hear them here in Fayette county.

I've got about 5 dozen traps, waxed and tuned, in a tote full of peat to keep them from picking up any odors. I plan on getting a couple dozen #3 Bridgers and MB 650's in the ground this weekend. I caught 7 in 1 spot last winter on about 50 acres, have heard them, never saw one. I would say that if you are seeing and hearing Yotes every time you go out, You Got Lot's Of Them ! I would also say that your Deer Hunting would have to be a whole lot tougher. Maybe after bow season you should consider trying your hand at thinning them some, course they are hard to thin.
