I finally ended the 4yr. drought waiting for a shooter. He didn't make it by much though.

Thanks. He went 35 yrds. Not much blood though, mostly inside. Full pass thru on a slightly 1/4 away shot. Here's some others I'm watching, probably wont shoot them though.

I've had a deer hanging the last two days, ice in the cavity and wrapped, is it too long? I'm afraid of the animal spoiling but I got a buddy that swears by it. Back home in Maine we wouldn't normally let it hang that long.....any input ?

I found a dead buck the second morning of 6 day firearm 30yrs ago.there wasn't to many tags back then,so I gutted him and hung him for a week took him home on the last day...Best deer i ever ate.I also used to see a guy in Long Valley hang one for the month of December it must have been ok because he did it almost every year!!
