To early??

With all this warm temp is it to early to use a can or rattle?

I have had zero luck with can call so far.

I don't think so. I would rattle more than anything. We started getting picks of bucks sparring two weeks ago. I just wouldn't get very aggressive with it right now. My experience is the bucks start turning on about now, the last week of October. I've had good results with bucks coming to a grunt call beginning the 1st week of Nov.
