$20.00 Archery Tag Question

Does anyone remember what year they began charging $20.00 for additional archery tags and changed the regs to say that one of the first two deer must be a doe?

I think the tags have been 20.00 for a few years now. The mandatory doe was started in certain counties a couple years ago and then expanded last year. It depends on what the doe limit for that specific county is.

It must be for certain counties. I checked Fayette County when I read this thread. Page 15 Hunting and Trapping Regulations says the first can be either sex and the second can be either sex.

I put two does in the freezer already, so I'm good to go, but I'm holding out for a nice buck for my last tag.
