Productive Night

My Dad and I both took this week off to put some time in hunting together. Since I can remember he's brought me everywhere with him and always puts me in our best, most productive spots. So I was ecstatic after tonight's hunt when I heard he was able to grunt this buck in on our last night! A great way to spend quality time and forge memories! Congrats Dad on an awesome, well earned buck!
Wow - awesome buck! Congrats to your dad :)
That's a beauty!! Congrats
nice buck. Its always nice to be able to share the memory.

wow, that's a real nice deer and better memories!! Congrat to your dad and to you for being good son for returning the favor.
With Thanksgiving around the corner each of us should think of things like this, having great parents that brought us up well, and give thanks. The gift that good parents give their kids is priceless. I know that I owe everything I am, and that I own in this world to my parents.
My parents have passed, but to those of you who still have them, let them know.
I can't take much credit for that buck. My son left his summit stand attached to tree from previous nights hunt gave me directions along with his grunt call and told me to shoot straight. Not much to it. Thanks Mike
Bluedog - You got it done. Congrats on a fine buck.
Congratulations. Great buck & even better story.
Thanks guys. Good luck and enjoy the rest of the season.
Bruiser. Congrats to you both.

the deer is not the prize, your relationship with your son is!! Just love reading about it!
Still a nice deer, way to close the deal.
BigbuckBob Ohhh do I have stories. They started many years ago. My son got his first deer with the bow at 10 years old in the back woods of Vt.
That's for sure! He put up with a lot of short hunts from me being cold and some nice deer that I spooked while learning the ropes. Never lost his patience once...
nice buck, congrats to you and your father!!
Congratulations, very nice buck and story, good pictures.
