I have a hypothetical Sunday hunting question . If the Legislature passed a law that all counties would have Sunday hunting would it superseed the county laws?

Yes.

Just like federal laws take precedent over state laws.

So if they wanted to they could pass Sunday hunting?

We'll, they actually did pass Sunday hunting. Unfortunately, they tacked on an amendment that gave counties the ability to vote on it. For 1 hunting season it was open statewide. I remember because I killed a nice 8 point on the one and only Sunday it was open in Monroe county.

Sure... and to my notion, that's what should have been done in the beginning. I think it's just silly how this thing has been handled. Giving counties the option to vote on it? Gee Whiz!

But, you know how it goes, when they "negotiate" legislation. What we have may be the only way it could have gotten enough votes to pass.
