I was just thinking that maybe they were trying to help each other out with a bowel movement by punching each other in the gut, you know, to help move things along.

I saw a few does do that to each other, then the big one slapped a spike around pretty darn well on the last day of the season in the Watershed several years ago. it's amazing how willing those girls are to smack each other!
