Weather in September?

Yeah.... I know. Anything can happen. Hope for the best but plan for the worst. I get that.
But in general... can you tell me what to expect for average temps and rainfall near Galena from about the 10th to 25th of September. I'd appreciate any input on that.
I'm kind of wondering how could it could possibly get.

I use weather underground to do weather research, they have a history feature. I just checked a few days for Galena, Sept. 23-25 and it looked like the average low is in the low 30s. Hope this helps.

That helps a lot VK. Thanks a million. I never thought of doing something like that.
Low 30s for an average low sounds great for keeping meat and having some activity with the moose. Also sounds like daytime highs would be pretty comfortable.
That is unless Mother Nature decides to throw a little tasteless humor our way. :-)
