My first muzzleloader deer was a shed buck, and a few years later, a friend took one in December also.

I had one that looked like that small deer was thinking bb had 5 bucks all with horns biggest a 8 ptr won camera

Maybe button buck is right, deer looks young. I thought it was another smaller buck that I had on camera but he showed up again with both sides. The diameter of the pedicle on the head looked bigger so I assumed an antler instead of a button. I have shot deer in the past in mid December with shed antlers.
