Tough head. What surprises me more than anything else is that the arrow shaft held up so well.

I don't care for the shape of those heads. I've never been convinced that concave is good. Convex makes so much more sense to me like the edge of a samurai sword, old Journeyman head and the Bear Razorhead. It also wouldn't surprise me if a head with a straight or convex head would stick in the barrel instead of bouncing off.

I like convex Journeyman heads too, and fasioned my trade heads after them.

3 for $45 - not exactly a bargain. I've shot Delma heads through new steel drums and in to cinder blocks without damage. 6/$30 makes more sense to me and they are as durable as they'll ever need to be on deer. Zwickey and Magnus 2 blades work awesome as well for about the same price. Convex heads don't really help or hurt penetration, but they are more difficult to sharpen. Also, I've not found it to be true that single bevel heads will necessarily 'twist' through targets either, not reliably anyway. I'll pass.

Forget I mentioned it!

I should have known the "know all do all committee" would have snide remarks:)
