What are you seeing in your neck of the woods? Some thunder and lightning on the radar, mostly steady rain here so far and dense fog rolling in off Lake Michigan and well inland. Only a few remnant bits of snow remaining in the cedar swamps and where large piles once stood from plowing, otherwise mostly green and muddy from fourth day in a row well above freezing.
Long-term forecast gives us a chance to see the sun in a couple days, and again perhaps a bit this weekend. Winds expected to fire up from the north and west tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday, then settle nicely Thursday and even more Friday through Sunday, very light north, northeast, northwest and west breezes and highs around freezing with sunshine. Sounds like some ideal weather to arrow some whitetails!

Been real foggy and light rain the last few days in Polk Co, have about a half inch of snow this morning and the winds picked up blowing out the fog. looking forward to getting the bow back out this weekend with lots of standing corn left still may have a chance.

I'd like to give a big shout out to the muzzleloader hunter I saw sitting out the pouring rain yesterday! He's a better man than me and I hope he was rewarded for his efforts because I could think of a million other places I'd rather be than up in a tree yesterday. YUCK!

No gun deer seasons open yesterday (that I'm aware of) outside the fences in WI. Maybe a turkey hunter?

That was in Sherburne County Minnesota, I assume muzzle, but now you got me wondering! Either way it was pouring and he was out there.
