I heard that the state was measuring a buck that was taken near Pittsburgh this year. A ten point? Claiming a new state record typical. Have not heard anything about it. Does anybody know? Have pictures?

Buck can be seen on the PA Game Commission website in the news release section. The deer is huge, makes the rack look small but in the end I think it's final score was 166 ish? State record typical is I think 178. Super nice deer but alas it was shot with a cross bow...... so I guess it doesn't count. :>)

I looked at the rack. Thanks for the information. When I saw the rack, I could tell it was a little short. I measured the Nicola buck. It scores 184 and change, netted 178 2/8. Mike was living Waterford, Pa at the time. That buck is a beautiful 12 point. Was this 10 pt. buck taken with a bow or crossbow.
