Congratulations. Very symmetrical looking rack.
Dr.Deer, Thanks for that article. Personally I don't mind some blood or holes in/on the animal. However, the best photos are usually before gutting, and, tuck the tongue in or cut it off.
"Remember you basically only have that one chance to take those pictures and try to make the most of it."
Hint, a small tripod and velro strap allows you to position a camera where you want it. Take several photos in each pose and keep fresh replacement batteries with the camera. Only a doe? Not really. That's an opportunity to practice photography on the trophy of the day.

Nice job BH on a late season buck. He still looks nice and chunky.

Thank you for the schooling on how to take a photo. More interested on filling my freezer for the family and I. Just figured I'd share with the fellow hunters out there.

Good luck silverado! I hope you do. I'm headed out the three final days. Wife gave me the go ahead. Ha! Great weather headed our way. Should be great with these cooler temps coming in. Just have to find the food source. Good luck to the guys headed out for the final days!!!

Bone, no criticism at all, just thought you might like the article. Photos help me when I write my journal, to make it a little more readable for others. But I fail sometimes. This year I killed a Coues buck that died on such a steep spot, and I was alone, that I just gutted it and packed it out (whole) to the trailhead, where a buddy took a picture of me walking with it on my back. It's the only photo I got. When I helped my partner kill his the next day, we took plenty of time to take a magazine-like hero shot. We were very fussy about it, posed the critter, skyline the rack and so on. Came out good
