I am writing this post as I sit in my tree fearing for my life ....at 715 this am I was sitting in the dark putting on my camo face paint minding my own business when I was attacked by a rather large and aggressive screech owl....this thing had to be 12 inchs tall had fearsome red eyes demonic eyes and tallons that looked like butcher knives which he used to try to remove my nose...the wvdnr should be held accountable for these aggressive raptors....as u remember a few weeks ago a golden eagle started me at gobblers farm ...now this...who do I contact at dnr to have this problem of aggressive birds addressed. ..maybe one of the commissioners will adress this here....signed trembling in a tree coleman

For it to be dark that was some very observant details but I can understand the owls point of view he was either sleeping and you woke him I know when I get woke up I want to rip a nose off some times or he was bout ready to snatch up breakfast and you run it off so he figured might as well get something while he could

Yes it was dark but the glow from his red eyes lit up his body.....if dnr commisioners wont persue this I may b forced to call the mountain monster crew...they will get to the bottom of this creature.....by the way deer huntin been really slow this am....mr wilson I will not alter my handsome face to accomadate a hidious beast like this that belongs to the wvdnr....lol (did I spell that right)...I better get off phone or I may get busted by deer as I sit here...been know to happen

You probably had your mouth wide open in suprise and the poor little owl thought it was its nest. They live in holes in a tree.
