I have routinely seen deer with antlers into late February. I think it's a rare occassion that they drop early...but it does happen if there is poor nutrition or the buck was stressed due to an injury.
I have an 8, 5 and spike in my yard most nights now...still going strong. Best time to look for sheds is March.

In Putnam County, NY I have a group of 4 bucks that hang around my house. The biggest one dropped his horns a while ago, I think due to his limping around with a leg injury. Don't know if it is hunting related or not. Another small buck has dropped his horns. A nice 8-point and a fork horn are still wearing their headgear.
The two of them were still interested in the does a couple of days last week and all the does immediately took off. They are still giving the bucks a wide berth when they come sniffing around the bird feeders. I was quite surprised at the level of interest so late in the winter and the does reaction.
