2015 Kill Plot

What does everyone plant for a "Kill" plot?
My property is about 80 acres of cedars, apples, and other thick brush; all surrounded by corn (normally).
This past season I went with the Daikon Radish with decent results. In fact, they are still digging through the 1.5ft of snow to get to them.

Thanks for the Info, I am also up North. I'll have to try that. Do you plant all of that at once? And do you need to adjust your PH levels for each one?
