Here are a few from the hunting shack
Zebra very very cool, where did you get that fallow deer, nice mount
I have shot them at Recordbuck, North texas outfitters and North Star, Thank You
Zebra - amazing stuff there!
Thanks Happy , I like looking a different rooms also to get ideas
Mixture of all above , never seen bear caribou moose antelope turkey in a fence, I have been very lucky to travel alot, but if the hunt I go on is behind a fence I have no issue some of my hardest hunts have been
Zebra, your room is amazing and that is what this thread is about.
Very nice trophy room zebrakiller!
Thanks, all but 3 were bow kills on 40 acres or less.
BRK is that moose a bow kill nice!
Like the barn board, FIP. Classic look.
Zebra- That elk has some unreal fronts on it. Hard to see exactly what he has going on in the back. Did you put a tape to him?
Duke not sure why photo is blury but its a Red Stag I have never had anything scored.
Ahh. I was wondering the same after I posted that, but couldn't quite tell from the photo as it is just blurred enough. Great collection of animals with nice variety.
B2K - Where did you get the nice brookie?
A lot of nice rooms here! I wish I had a better room/house for my mounts. My man cave is a little cluttered...
These things take up a lot of room!
And not much room for any more...
No, the door clears the elk but you have to be careful not to walk in around the corner too fast and he nudges you in the back if you're trying to shoot pool on that corner of the table :^)
Here's the trophy room I was accused of photo shopping 2 years ago. 14 book elk, 396 is the biggest. 11 BC, 19 PY. 1.5 grandslams, 1200 lb. Kodiak, top 60 all time caribou, top 150 all time bullwinkle. I won't show the Wisconsin whitetail room.
all tongue and groove butternut and hand pick stone from my place.
wow, makes my room, look like a closet, very nice, where did you get them antelope,,,,,, I have yet to arrow one, going to try, this August.....
Two goats, man that's nice. as a young guy I tried twice for them,,,,, could have had one with a rifle, but was not into that,,,,,,
what are all the skulls on the mantel?
The thread is called Trophy Rooms and that is an awesome trophy room November. Who cares who put the trophies in the room? My room has my kids' bears and deer too. Do we each need a trophy room of our own?
Ronny can't seem to control his envy and jealousy of your accomplishments. Typical of Ronny to take this great thread and add negativity to it. He ruins every thread he touches.
"Twice I told him "nice room" "
And followed it up with "but" each time bashing him.
"Nice room but I think the bulk of the guys here are showing animals they killed not the animals somebody else killed"
"Nice room for sure but I don't think the other guys are showing a single kill that is not their own."
You know what your intentions were. Now, please leave this great thread alone and quit ruining every great thread out here. PLEASE
Incredible room November!
Great great job November. Best looking man cave I have ever seen.
Are those shrunken heads on the mantle?......
November- that room is spectacular. Very nice assortment and unreal collection of elk. Only strike is that couch. Hope it has some type of great sentimental value.
Cheesehead, your man cave just needs a kegerator with cold Sam Adams. You could play, work, and .... down there.
The speed goats are all douglas,wy. Easiest py animal if you want to bake your brain allday on a waterhole. The skulls are grizz, wolf, cats, ect.
whats nice about all our man caves, is either working or reading or what not, you can stop, and look and relive, the hunt, and for awhile go back to the adventure, that you lived.......
Some of my most memorable adventures, have all been the Diy hunts....... nothing wrong with outfitted hunts, heck they have been some of the best, but also, some of the best, have been when a tag was not even filled,,,,,,
Missed shots, sweat labor, and failure, hard work, pursuit of fair chase game, and most times the game pursued was the winner,,,,,,
never left a hunt without a smile on my face, and satisfaction in my soul
Well said Razor. Great rooms one and all! Unfortunately no one room at our place yet. Need time and $ to finish the basement! Seems time is always the biggest factor. Best intentions to print and frame photos from numerous adventures, and since married with children (and digital vs. having to get film developed and printed), the past 16 years have been a blur! Not complaining, just wondering if I'll ever get caught up enough to enjoy looking back! Redclub, give me some hope!!
Well stated razor. I love these pics.
Great stuff , my ego trip room is where I watch Packer and Badger games , and talk hunting with visitors . And to hide from the ball and chain once in a while .
About 10 years ago I started filling in around the mounts with " stuff " to give it a look . Old knives , tomahawks , traps , pistols , arrows, quivers , old pictures , indian artifacts and so on . Adds a nice look .
Speaking of filling in around the mounts, many years ago I found these traps hanging on a nail in the falling down remains of a shed on the old farm that my mom grew up on. They belonged to my grandpa or one of my uncles or both...
They have Wisconsin trap tags on them from the 1920's, 1930's and 1940's , very nostalgic...
You guys give me inspiration!! Just moved last summer so i'm still figuring out how i want the man cave to look. Here is what I have up to date.
