Elk restoration?

I am just curious what the word is now last I heard was they was going to put the elk in the Elkins area once Kentucky decided on how many they could let go and worked on a few more things has anybody heard of anything else as of now?

I have not heard anything for a long while about elk going anywhere except southern WV.

Full steam ahead, but wvmule is correct the designated area is in Southern WV - I think it includes parts of 7 counties.

Well they will migrate sone., heaven help em if they make it to Pendleton county.

That's what I heard for a long time the 7 coal counties and then I read an article in news paper and it was mentioning bout putting them in Elkins that's why I was wondering if anybody had heard anything guess that will be a good question to bring up Tuesday at the chuck Mathena center during the public meeting
