Just drove my daughters out to the bus stop and saw a huge group of deer cross in front of us and I know at least 3 very nice bucks still were carrying their headgear! One was pushing 18 inch spread but thin tines.

Impossible. There are no deer left and there certainly aren't any 2.5 year old and older bucks in WV outside of the coal fields. :^)

Went out to listen for turkeys this morning and saw a decent buck chasing what I think was a young doe all over the ridge across from me. He was grunting with every step!
Also heard three different birds so it was quite and eventful morning!
