Hey everyone, I'm looking into SGL 211 to possibly hunt this fall for deer and maybe bear. I have not spent much time there and was looking for some help in the terms of areas to look for. I'm not trying to get someone's "hotspot". If someone could just point me in the right direction for deer hunting. Also, are there a good amount of bears on that mountain? Thanks for any help.

RutHunter I grew up hunting SGL211 towards the Dehart Dam area. The best advice I can give is to put boots on the ground. I know of one group that drives for bear up there and does pretty well. It's a lot of woods and it does hold deer but you need to find the right areas. Which side of 211 are you planning on hunting?
