DT

in my mind, there's nothing better in life than sharing things with kids. It doesn't matter if it's reading a book in the hammock on a warm summer day, or teaching them how to look for animals in the woods, they're all golden times in life.

When you get to be my age you begin to fully understand and APPRECIATE the value of these memories, because now my ADULT kids talk about them with love and gratitude in their voices. This is why grandparents treasure their grandkids sooo much, it's our 2nd chance at giving them the same memories. What a blessing to be able to share that gift with them.

Awesome, congrats to you both. I got to experience the same thing with my nephew last year and on Saturday as well. A bonus for Saturday was that my 9 year old was also able to tag along and experience the moment with his cousin taking a nice bird as well. Nothing better than that in my book.

ask them both about in 10 yrs, 20 yrs, 30 yrs from now and I'll bet they can tell you every detail like it happened yesterday. Love those stories!!
