Sunday night was a great night to be on stand. The baits were getting hit good and the weather was cooperative. I was able to take my girlfriend Candice out and attempt to get her first big game animal ever! All the stars aligned that night and she was able to take this beautiful 6' + bear at 10 yds with her bow. Couldn't be any happier for her and I know she was pumped! bear only ran 50 yds after the shot and gave out a quiet but exciting death moan. weighed in at 248 lbs and skull should make the 18" minimum for pope and young! Way to go Candice!!

Just got back today from Manitoba with my first bear. Its a 250lb cinnamon. Went with Sugarloaf outfitting. I can highly recommend them. Class act all the way.

got this guy on the 19th. Very happy with him. Going to make an awesome shoulder mount with the big white blaze. First one for me with any sort of white v.

Friend of mine, Reg shot this bear a couple of weeks ago. Green scored a bit over 20". Not bad for his first bear.

After passing up far too many Nice Black ones I was sure there was a Cinnamon out there for me this season….NOPE!
