Just figured this would be some interesting reading for you guys. Seems the winters have taken a toll on some populations and hunters have been advocating for a reduction in permits. There's the public perception of hunters, then there's the reality. Knowing how passionate we are about hunting and how much we enjoy doing it, each for our own various reasons, but I'm proud of the fact that WE stand up and say we'll take a reduction in tags, we'll take less deer in order to preserve the herd. I'd just like to take the time to "take my hat off" to one of the most unselfish group of people I've ever encountered and it makes me damn proud to call myself a hunter.
