I finished a tree planting operation and have left over seedlings I would rather not see wasted. 1000 white pine 3 yr old, 500 burr oak 2 yr old, 100 swamp oak 1 yr old and 100 dogwood osier. DNR will loan you a pull behind planter, so here is a chance to enhance your land. The second best time to plant a tree is today, we missed the first. I am in Dane County.

You may want to dig a trench with the bucket of a tractor and plant a bunch of them in the trench for future re-plants. Wrap the "nursery" with snow fence to keep out the deer.

All good information. I will utilize that advice if someone does not have a better use for them.

Glunker, please PM me. I'm interested in the White pine and swamp oak. I would not need a planter.
