FYI, just for all you "dreamers" who believe that you will hunt Elk in WV. Look at the precedent set by Kentucky (with the biggest herd east of Mississippi), it all comes down to money. All they are going to do is diminish the quality whitetail hunting in southern WV. Save your money and go west.

I agree with you Mountain Man but guys want elk here. It would be nice to hunt them but not many people will be able to. I would say it would be easier to kill one out west. JMO.

Good point huntmaynard. That's one good thing about the southern counties. They don't have any poaching down there.
