Trail cams & Bears ?

I lost one to humans.

Closest was teeth marks on a few occasions and cam found on the ground in PA. He didn't walk away with it and cam still worked after. I have pictures of several bears sniffing the cam as well. Like Crow inferred, I would be more worried about humans than bears taking the cam.

I have had a few ripped off the tree and chewed by bears. The steel boxes are the way to go.

I had one mauled by bears, tore it to shreds. The card survived. The last picture was of the bear about to open a can of whoop ass.

Second the steel boxes .Bears ate 2 cameras of mine before I started using the box.

i had a few beers then tried for the steel box once..mauled my bait to shreds..
