I just spoke with someone at the governors office and here is what they told me.
After the bill passes, it gets transmitted and it goes to the Secretary of State. The Secretary of State then sends it to the Governor's desk. At this point, he has 15 days to sign it or veto the bill. I was eronously thinking that the 15 days would start from the day the legislature would adjourn.
The bill has not reached his desk yet.
Bottom line is that we have to keep calling. Humane society could be gathering 100s of letters to bring to him all at once.

Today for the first time after so many calls, I spoke with the guy and asked if he knew my voice by now and he said yes Ed. He said he would transfer me to the govs desk and he placed me on hold. He came back after a minute and told me it wasn't on his desk yet.
I filled out an email form as well. I was told that the Anti Hunters haven't given up hope of a Veto, so I'll stay on this until one of 3 things happens: 1). He signs it. 2). The time expires and it becomes law without his signature. 3). He Vetos it.
