Antler Engraving

I have a great friend who is getting married soon, and I was wondering if anyone has ever had an antler engraved. If so, where did you have it done? I was thinking their names and wedding date.

Great idea, go to a jewelry store and see if they will do it.

I've seen hollowed out tines used as rings by an avid hunter (really avid!), way cool, not sure who did it for them.

Would be hard to engrave being so porous . Heres one that works and looks cool . Take a narly antler and cut it like cookies . Drill 4 holes in each one , now you have a nice set of buttons . Make 6 for the shirt and 1 for each sleeve . They look cool , got the idea from a few I found years ago in the Black Rock desert where the Piutes lived .
