NR antelope OTC tags

Does SD have OTC NR antelope tags available ? I noticed that the SW corner of SD has a large amount of public grassland. Are the lope populations stable and in good shape or have the winters knock them down.

The tags are not OTC, you will need to apply online to receive your tag but they are unlimited in number. You'll have your tag in a week or so. Antelope populations are still down significantly in SD but they are slightly increasing. You can have a good hunt but you'll work for it.

It says the drawing for antelope opens in july but from what i can tell that hasn't happened yet? can anyone confirm this is correct or am I doing something wrong on the online application process. I only see various deer applications open.

The antelope applications are not yet available online. Sometime in mid July would be my guess.
