I got first archery for citrus....i usually hunt the far north end but burning has become a joke.

I'm hunting first archery on an "old folks" permit. I usually hunt the south. I don't get a chance to do much scouting due to the distance I need to travel. I figure the local folks will have all the big deer spotted and patterned. They will most likely have their stands set long before I can get there. Must be nice.

I remember when citrus was one of the few WMAs with leftover permits...lots of them! Of 750 available, there was always 5-600 left over
No such thing as a leftover permits now
Not sure why, but i just assumed it was shot out
Never walked it but it lokks interesting on satellite, best of luck out there, probably some good deer after years of low pressure

There are many left over permits this year....one of the few places with anything available for 2nd draw
