Was out hiking a property last weekend and darned if the Black Oaks weren't already dropping acorns - about a month ahead of schedule. Anyone else notice signs of an early fall?

The valley oaks have green, full size acorns on them but haven't noticed them dropping yet.
Haven't looked at the black oaks up by my house, I'll have to check (I'm at 2000 feet elevation).
