Does anybody else get excited seeing deer poop the closer the season gets.?...and no,my walls aren't covered with tarps' while I watch weird German porn..lol

Yup, I absolutely get excited. Now Im getting excited seeing bear poop as the season nears. And yes German porn is also exciting lol.

Steve, we have 2 split seasons in Sept and Nov and new this year bear are allowed during shotgun deer season. All weapons allowed during the Sept and Nov season including rifles which are not allowed for deer and revolvers can be used in Sept.

Actually let me clarify, bow, rifle, handgun, muzzleloader allowed in Sept. Nov is the same except for the handgun which i dont understand why. Shotguns only allowed during shotgun bear/deer season along with muzzleloader, bow only. Confused? Welcome to MA. No bait or dogs allowed yet they want the bear pop cut down. Permit is 5 bucks for resident not sure about nonres. I dont think its much though either 5, 10, or 25 tops I think?

If anyone is interested in a nonres hunt their are plenty of bear above Canaan area over the line all the way over to the CT river.
