10 Months to the date (Sat Oct 31).. and the taxidermist said 8-10 months.
Extremely happy with it.

Have you tried throwing it off the roof yet?? Looks so lifelike I bet it could fly!!
My wife would nail my butt to the wall if I brought a mount home like that :)

Thanks Guys. Luckily (for her, or for me?) the girlfriend fully supports my hunting & understands it's a huge part of who I am. She liked my Salmon and Fallow mounts too.
She has joked that "when" we buy land and build a "compound", that we will have a room for the mounts I have, and my bucket list animals (Moose, Elk, Caribou, Bison and Red Stag).
@ Mathews - A friend of a friend, who does it part time. But I had seen his birds, so I was comfortable going to him.
It IS huge and does take up quite a bit of wall and room space.

I never did any mounts because I didn't own my house. Might do the next nice one I get or an ugly one my son gets it.

Nice turkey your friend did a good job on it.Looking at your mounts brings back alot of good memories for me and it shows me what around so I don't shoot the first buck that walks by I try to hold out for a big one instead.

congrats... I attempted to have my first turkey done.... one year later had to file report with local police agency for a larceny...
