Went out scouting today state land. Looking for a place closer to Wallingford since I moved ..... And then this happened and ruined my scouting trip 15 mins into it

Spike. Hard to tell. It was in a swamp amd real wet but lots of game trails. Bit nothing smoking hot

Congrats. FYI If you ever try the Durham Meadows area off of 68 Steer clear of sitting on the edge of that big open field (rt 68 side of wma) I sat just in the woods from that field one day and saw 15 or so different people walk their dogs around the perimeter of that thing. Many with no leash.. Even saw one guy who dropped trough and took a dump.
