No luck yet? Not seeing too many pictures on this page. We had some high winds in 9H but I did see deer on every sit but one. All small bucks and some does, looks good this weekend so I'm thinking the action will get better. Good Luck guys.

I've only had a chance for a few quick hunts and since we are doe only, I'm avoiding my good spots until after the 15th. I did go out Saturday evening and took a nice doe. Made a great shot and she was down in less than 3 seconds.

my buddy had a nice 10 point hanging out in front of him in range last night... so i guess pretend that bucks were open and that he shot it and that i posted the picture.

That stinks. I luckily havent had any shooter bucks come by. So far just three 1.5 year olds. Two 4's and a 6.

Yup no pic's from me yet either. I see way more bucks than does in my area, but we are do only right now too. As others have said, I don't see the point in toruring myself if I see a big one come by.

Unique rack, I would of liked to give him 2 more years. He would of been something. I noticed a lot of guys were out on the 15th. thinking that was the buck opener. The 16th. was the first day of bucks in the areas open to doe only before. Where is 9H? Shawn

Saturday I took my first buck by spot and stalk, talk about exciting. A yearling 4PT so his inexperience probably helped. It was cold and windy and I was under dressed, had to get out of the stand and headed back to the truck early. Saw him not far from my stand just browsing along and picking up acorns. Got a 20 yard quartering away shot, thanks to the wind and some blow downs from a couple of years ago. Good eating to.

My daughter shot her first deer on 11/14/15. Instead of using her bow she used my crossbow and made a 44 yard shot. Better yet I was with her in the tree stand and called the buck in.

One for the meatpole, boys. Nice fat Doe at 13 yds. Heart/lung shot. Very happy. That's only my second bow shot deer and 5th over all. It was a rough year...120 hrs in stand but it paid off. Keep plugging to the guys who ain't got yet. God Bless and Merry Christmas....Mad Dog
