Temp Change - Sunday to Monday
Wisconsin

Looks like almost 80 degrees Sunday then dropping to upper 50's for Monday. Think I'm going to be up a tree Monday afternoon and see if I can find a big buck on his feet in the cooler temps. Anyone else see Monday as a good hunt opportunity during the otherwise slow time we call "October lull"?
It could be. I see for my area they are calling for rain and high winds on Monday. Light rain no problem but high winds not good.
I'm tagged out until rifle season, so going fishing instead. 80 degrees sounds pretty good for that, but if I had a tag in my pocket I'd be bumming for sure...nothing worse than hunting in hot weather:( Anyway, I believe significant temperature swings are always good times to be in stand, so I think Monday might be the ticket if you try it.
A lot depends on where you live. If you hunt within a few miles of Lake Michigan/Green Bay, you'll have much cooler temps with wind off the water.
Looks like Tuesday evening and next Friday evening might be best, if the long-term forecast holds; both come after at least two days of windy, warmer weather, with highs in the 50s both days.
Forecast here is for 48 and 12 mph SW at dawn tomorrow, high around 60 with winds up to 20 mph; Sunday, 54 and still windy, high in upper 60s to near 70 later; Monday lowl 60s and west winds 20-30 with higher gusts.
I was looking at the weather, and I know that I will try to be in the woods on Monday due to the lower temps.
I'm planning on hunting!!
Winds 20-30 in central wisconsin with gusts higher on Monday. Deer seem to lie low during high winds.
Not a fan of big wind and tree stands. Tree sways and your shot can also...
After seeing the high winds predicted for my area, I'm now 50/50 about hunting tomorrow.
I think at least I will head to camp tomorrow morning, and see what the wind is like in my area. I have a few small ravines surrounded by thick poplar regrowth, that I might be able to still hunt. Otherwise, it looks like the wind might die down for the last hour of the day, and I can always hit the woods then.
For sure I am going to hunt Tuesday, as the weather should be calm and Cold, and after tomorrow, I feel like probably 75% of the leaves will be off the trees on my property.
Deer movement was beyond incredible last night. To warm To hunt tonight for me.
