Hello everyone. I am new to the area I live in Warminster. I am originally from Southern Illinois and am a bit spoiled when it comes to deer hunting but I am ready for a new challenge and try to find some PA Bucks in Bucks County. I am used to bow and shotgun hunting. I hear the trouble is finding a place to hunt. I did some research and found some public land places around Nockamixin but I have only fished there not hunted. A friend of my wife grew up around Allentown area and said I can hunt near their property but I seeing if they are serious about it before I go. I know I got a buck tag with my hunting license and I heard everything else is sold out but I'm ok this year looking for a buck. Anyone have any suggestions or know any farmers that would like some deer removed either now or in future seasons near Bucks Co. Any conversation will be helpful.
Happy Hunting.
Matt

Sorry man but if it was as easy as a post to get access everyone would be doing it. Your best bet is boots to the dirt and knocking on doors, you'll get 10 NO's before you get a Yes but that 1 Yes could be a honey hole in that area. Nockamixon is a huge park and gets a fair amount of pressure, archery isn't as bad as shotgun, it gets hammered during gun, best bet is to try and find escape routes or areas away from the orange army that you can setup. Good luck.

I hear ya man. Hard not to find land that doesn't get hammered during gun season.

Somebody on here will probably mention the UBP and the stuff we do, especially "down there." We run an early season doe hunt and camp out on private ground every September. Did I mention the pig roast? Good time to network and meet folks. If you e.mail me at the office I can send you more info. At [email protected]

I'll give you a piece of advice. Learn to city hunt. Some of the biggest bucks are in places where you can barely find a legal place to hunt. No door knocking. You'll be surprised what is lurking in the little patches of cover in the cities and suburbs.
