Still in the mid 60's here in Berekeley Couny! Not much moving yet! Hope it's a little cooler for this evening!

51 here. While still warm i will take it over 80! Had a 9 pt under me for bout 45 minutes rubbing trees and browsing. Then 6 doe came by and he went after them. Cooler weather is coming your way.

I'll need much cooler weather before I venture out as far as I need to to have a good chance of being successful on public land. The cooler weather will allow me more time to get a harvested deer out without the chance of it spoiling.

No sign here in Jefferson county of the rut. Just too warm. Have yet to see a buck cruising. Did have a couple deer come in at first light and bed down 15 yards from me. laid there for 2 hours. Got up, stretched, fed 20 yards, laid back down. They just are not moving
