Anyone here hunt Norwich area?

was surfing the Web and came across some information that the area is over run with deer is it easy to get permission to hunt there also saw there might be a late season starting January? I would like to try hunting in the area are the parks any good hunting? thanks

no parks , but lots of stateland. Good luck with private permission. Not overrun with deer buy any means

what about down in Ithaca? I was asking because I have a friend with property in Norwich but would like to hunt Ithaca seems like it is over run with deer from what I read on Internet

not easy to get permission from local farmers. But 13 mile out of Norwich west is the town of North Pharsalia, 7500 acres of state land. Lots of great hunting in the area, from woods to open areas of old farms with lots of apple trees. Go in off of route 23 and One Eye road. I lived on this road for 15 years and had great times hunting the state land.
