Sounds like you've had more deer than most of us...or your neighbor moose had some beers with a bunch of cows and they broke his spike..hard to decipher

it's true, moose will drive out whitetail, they're very aggressive that way. Paul's trip the Fork in Maine is a prime example of that. He saw plenty of moose where years ago there as a healthy deer population (not like CT, but we were able see them now and then)

Saw a cow on Monday. Very far away. I'll let Andrew the Biologist from the DEEP know. Nice guy. He's studying them and collecting data. Please let them know of sightings.

Bbb I guess you are right I saw three moose where I had a set up in Maine no deer had to move saw deer no shot but had a great time walked for miles got lost but had my compass made it out had fun !

it's big woods up there, very exciting place. You don't use a GPS? I keep a compass in my pack, but the GPS makes it so easy.
