How did you do in the lottery?
Week 6, my favorite. NOT!
It was my last choice

The link to check
Zone 4, first week. Hope Im not knee deep in snow!
I used to get 5th or 6th until I stopped trying. Now I applied for 1st and 2nd and leave everything else blank. Now I usually get 1st and buy for 3rd. (Zone 3)
Zone 2 4/27 to 5/3 should be good,,,,,,,
Zone 2 4/27 - 5/3 might take the bow this year. if you haven't tried the shoot and scoot i recommend it! used it last year worked awesome.
Zone 2 Season A 4-13 to 4-19. First time I've ever applied for the early season. Going to use the bow this year.
Thanks, raspy.
Good to go. Gobble-Gobble.
Nonresident zone 2 season D. Tried my bow last year and had several in gun range but no luck taking 4 shots with the bow. I pretty much suck with such a small target. Hunting public I can't use dekes by 4th season because the toms avoid them like the plague. Not sure what to do this year.
Sure is nice I can count on WI to send me a "successful" every year in the turkey draw since all I get in my western big game lotteries despite 250+ points is USUC.
Zone 3 1st season, landowner preference
Looks like zone 1 last season. So once again another year with no turkey hunting as looks like I have training at work now and won't be able to go.
I real hate the way wi season is set up. With my job it is to hard to plan that far out for tag dates.
We'll maybe I can get lucky and get a left over tag.
bghunter... there will be plenty of chances to get a turkey tag if you really want to go. ... I love the way Wisconsin does their turkey seasons.
Zone 1 last season? that makes no sense unless you applied for that date specifically within your first two choices? There are typically leftover permits available for D, E, and F seasons, meaning you would by a minimum chance, have drawn season D or E depending on availability. Also, you'd have to be pretty darned "unlucky" not to get a leftover permit. I typically have three tags each year in a zone with far less availability, and absolutely love the way the tags are drawn, and most all turkey hunters prefer it to stay just the way it is. I still question why the tag costs what it does, especially comparing it to the cost of deer hunting, but that kind of fun is worth every penny.
I know most people like the way WI tags are, but with my job it does not work out well, but it is what it is.
I know it was not my first choice for a tag, but I already put an alert on my phone to remind me to try and get a left over tag so I can hopefully get out. If not no big deal.
Good luck to everyone though.
bghunter:
In zone 1 there will be leftover tags in periods C,D,E & F and I will have a tag for all of those periods in addition to the period A tag that I drew this spring.
Can't check mine. I get to the license page and the spring turkey button is grayed out for me. Bummer
Mine won't let me check either .
I wonder why we could check online on the 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th and then on the 21st no one can check their status. Somethings not right. Why so super secret?
Same here guys, it worked fine until today.
Sorry it was me I checked today and boom couldnt open it up nothing works for me. They are running the computers files to process the paper work and mailings. Should see it soon as long as I dont try again!!!
Huntcell....thanks, probably why I can't see mine either. Thought I was doing something wrong. LOL
From the DNR, the results were posted prematurely. They have taken off the system and will be posted again when the drawing results are correct. So, what you saw, you might not get, but then again you might. BC
Bow Crazy..... Called on line center.... was told they are having trouble entering the results. What was posted is right.
I'm glad to hear the results are correct, I was told different. BC
BC.... I know what you mean. I have had one person say one thing.... then a week later say something different.

Zone 2, Season 4. Pretty disappointed. I haven't got a good draw for several years.
They did finally post the leftover permit availability...
I got zone 6 2nd season. I'm pumped first time applying.
Question 39 of this Springs Questionnaire. Allowing unfilled spring turkey permits to be used in 5th and 6th week. "39. Would you be in favor of expanding spring turkey hunting opportunities while maintaining the existing 6 period season structure by allowing unsuccessful turkey permit holders from time periods 1,2,3,and 4 the use of their unfilled permits during the 5th and 6th time periods in their specific zone?"....this is a very interesting way of getting more hunters in the woods on the two weeks where the DNR has the most leftover tags that go unsold.
