I like the eating deer tenderloin. It would be more enjoyable if I could eat more tenderloin. :)

Best: Watching the sunrise/sunset. Hearing the woods come alive with sounds in the morning. Hearing the unmistakable sound of fallen leaves crunching under the feet of an approaching deer or tightening on the string when a turkey is so close you can hear it drumming. A screaming bull under 50 yards ain't bad either. :^) Anticipation that THE critter you're after could come by at any time. Lasty... the solitude.
Worst: Trying to enjoy hunting when you're in a place where there's no anticipation.

Best,Hearing the grunt of whitetail buck as he follows a doe into bow range. Worst. The sound of a lone rifle shot just as sun is setting on early Nov evening and you know a buck just got poached.

I agree with Jimmy on the best and I agree with hoppie on the worst. I usually hear the shot on opening morning thought before daylight.
