Last year this was nearly grown shut with Russian and Autumn Olive, Barberry and Multiflora Rose. PGC has been working it over to stimulate new growth and also clear areas for Woodcock reproduction.

Roger will remember this photo...across the creek up at the corner where two ringnecks came out from under a briar bush.

Not sure what they are using but it will chop up some pretty good saplings. This give a bit of size relationship.

Might be some brookies, it gets pretty low in the summer.

I see most of your snow has melted. Ours melted last week but has snowed everyday since Nonday. We have about a foot now. Just let dogs in from outside both were white but they love the cold weather.

I see your "right hander" accompanied you today. Has your "left hander" been given such the privilege yet?

And simply curious: does the PGC just cut and let lay, or do they grind-up for a quicker return to the earth?

Harry, I have had the lefty out as well. They remove a lot of the cuttings...actually most of them. I haven't seen the machine they are using but it must contain most of the cut brush. If not you would see it everywhere and you don't. It is very clean out there as you can see in some of the photos. Of course if you didn't see it before, it's not as obvious. ))

Noticed those old patches from the early days George. I have the turkey on my vest. Sweet. A college girl/bowhunter designed our 2016 patch. Look at the progress we are making.
