Just a reminder, the Bowhunting in Arizona Record Book Committee has a new website! For those of you that don't know, this organization is the official bowhunting record book for the state of Arizona.

To celebrate the new website, a copy of the current edition of the record book may be purchased on the site for only $15.99 plus shipping! It's normally about twice that price(which is a great price for a 350+ hard bound book with dust cover).

The book is also a great took for locating hunting units, since it lists the unit each trophy was taken. There's also a table in the back that shows, unit by unit, how many records of every big game species have been entered for each hunt unit. The Pope and Young book only shows the listings by county. Arizona has many of the largest counties in the Country, so there are often quite a few hunt units in one county, so that doesn't narrow it down too much.

The Committee is holding an awards banquet at the end of March in Tucson to present plaques to those that have collected the largest trophies of each species over the last two year period (7/01/13-6/30/15). That information is on the website as well.
